We have some awesome raffle prizes available for our volunteers this year, courtesy of our great sponsors! Simply register yourself as a volunteer, have some fun volunteering on race week, and you'll be entered automatically!
- Prize One, for volunteers signed up before July 1: A $100 Keweenaw Cash gift certificate courtesy of the Canal Run.
- Prize Two: A $50 gift certificate courtesy of Gino's Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge
- Prize Three: A stand-up paddle board courtesy of Portage Paddle Sports
About Canal Run Volunteering
It takes more than 150 volunteers to make the Canal Run the great event it is. From the very start, this event has been run by some of the very best volunteers the Copper Country has to offer. Most of them have been doing it for many years and can tell you many stories of their time at the Canal Run.
Volunteer Opportunities
Why? Because they love the Canal Run. It’s a great event and one that the Keweenaw community is proud of. Are you ready to help us continue the Canal Run’s great tradition? Every year we need volunteers to help with registration, organizing the finishing chute, helping with timing, helping at the aid stations, leading and following the race, controlling traffic and setting up the course. Even if you’re participating in the event, we still need your help.
Oh yeah, have we mentioned that all volunteers get a FREE Canal Run t-shirt?
